Discover the fascinating world of bees and learn from the experts at The Bee Shed. During this lecture and demonstration, you’ll get an up-close look at the amazing work of bees and learn about the importance of beekeeping for our environment. The Bee Shed team will share their knowledge on beekeeping techniques, equipment, and products. You’ll also have the opportunity to ask questions and participate in a hands-on demonstration.

You will partake in an educational presentation from Libbey discussing houseplant purchasing and care tips. You’ll learn the ins and outs of keeping your plants happy!

You will partake in a guided, hands-on Terrarium Workshop. You’ll have your choice of containers, plants, and design elements to make a terrarium that is one of a kind. Terrariums are small gardens typically contained in glass that often develop their own biosphere. This allows you to grow plants that don’t otherwise adapt well to the atmosphere of a home. We have a broad selection of terrarium plants to choose from starting at $4.99

Make your very own hanging garden! Kokedama is a Japanese gardening technique where a plant’s roots are wrapped in soil and moss. Kokedama planters are typically hung from a string but they can also be grown on the ground or other flat surfaces.

RavensFire

The RavensFire Band is well known all around the Tri-state area for their energetic performances, beautiful vocal harmonies, and skilled instrumentals while playing and singing their unique collection of lively traditional Irish, Folk, World, Americana and original music. They are very talented, funny and friendly musicians who show that they truly love to perform.

Joel Ward

Joel Ward is a soul singing, acoustic guitar pickin’, lyric writing, fool for music out of Rochester. Ward's songwriting is one part modern folk, one part throwback to the sounds of the 1960's folk revival.
